At Home Style Shop, we want you to be completely satisfied with your home styling purchases. If for any reason you’re not happy with your order, we offer a straightforward returns and exchanges process within 15 days of receiving your items.

Our Return Policy

We accept returns and exchanges for most items within 15 days of delivery, provided they are in their original condition with all tags attached and packaging intact. Please note:

  • Items must be unused and in resalable condition
  • Original packaging must be included
  • Proof of purchase is required

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on the following products:

  • Cutlery and kitchen accessories that have been unpackaged
  • Personal care items from our Bathroom Furniture collection
  • Opened food preparation equipment
  • Custom-made or special order curtains and curtain poles

How to Return an Item

Follow these simple steps to return your Home Style Shop purchase:

Step 1: Submit a Return Request

Email our customer service team at [email protected] with the following information:

Subject: Return Request – Order #[Your Order Number] Dear Home Style Shop Team, I would like to return/exchange the following item(s) from my order #[Your Order Number]: Product Name: [Product Name] SKU/Item Number: [If available] Reason for Return: [Please specify – wrong size, damaged, incorrect item, changed mind etc.] I understand that I am responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect. Please advise on how to proceed with my return. Best regards, [Your Full Name] [Your Contact Number] [Your Order Date]

Step 2: Wait for Approval

Our team will respond within 2 business days with:

  • Return authorization
  • Return shipping address
  • Special instructions if applicable

Step 3: Package and Ship Your Return

Please pack your return securely in the original packaging if possible. Include:

  • The completed returns form (will be emailed to you)
  • All original tags and accessories
  • A copy of your order confirmation

Note: We recommend using a tracked shipping service as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item(s):

  • Refunds will be processed within 5 business days
  • Your refund will be credited to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

For exchanges, we will ship your replacement item once we receive your return. If the new item is of higher value, you’ll need to pay the difference. For lower value items, we’ll refund the difference.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item:

  1. Contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage or incorrect item
  2. We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you
  3. In some cases, we may ask you to return the item using a prepaid shipping label

International Returns

For customers outside the UK:

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs
  • Please mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid customs charges
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable
  • Refunds will be issued in GBP and may vary slightly due to exchange rate fluctuations
